A very good, interesting article. So sad the other children called her "Susan simple".....and I didn't realize that the village youths would still go up to knock on the door of "the crazy lady"! So cruel....especially after she cared for her mother for so long and her mother was now dead when they did this to Susan!

Susan, you have suffered much at the hands of people.....now I pray you have all the happiness and fulfillment you really deserve. You are a sweet, true to yourself person....and that makes you a breath of fresh air!

How sad that her brothers come out now, where were they when she probably needed them? I sure hope Susan doesn't let them manage her career.

I did skip to 35 minutes but somehow I didn't see the church or inside of it. Oh well, that's ok.

Thanks for posting this, Bruno. Everytime I hear Susan speak, I am struck by her honesty and sweet nature. So down to earth. I fall in love with her again. Makes me proud my mother's people come from Scotland! You GO, Susan!!!!!

Yes, Susan is so very nice and sweet.....wish there were more like her around!

I'm thinking that the performance the other night must have been one of the hardest things she's ever had to do with tons of pressure. I'm betting this next one won't be as nerve-wracking and I've got my fingers crossed, sending her the best vibes there are. I'll buy her CD even if she doesn't win. She has me as a life-long fan!

Praying that Susan won't quit, but whatever happens, I'm sure she will get a record deal. And I'll be buying her CD!!

Considering the track record of the English tabloid scene, I'm not inclined to believe much of this. So what if she is human and lost her temper? My mother's people are from Scotland and believe me, that was tame in comparison to some things I've heard.

I know one thing for sure, there has NEVER been anyone shoved into notoriety to the degree this woman has because there has never been the internet. It must be almost impossible to deal with. I wouldn't blame Susan if she pulled a Greta Garbo and just disappeared. I would feel very sad because I love her voice and want to hear more of her but I would understand if she did leave this circus atmosphere.

I have read some of the most disgusting, cruel and harsh things on blogs today. I'd like to see anyone cope with this any better than she has.

Earlier today at Susan-Boyle.com I read that Susan says she does not plan to leave the show. Also, she said alot of stuff has been taken out of context. I think the gossip papers are just wanting to get a "story" so they can sell more....even if alot is not true, like they do with other "stars."

What annoys me most are French magazines (not all) which just repeat what the tabloids say...

I first found those news related in French-speaking papers on line...
As they were referring to The Sun I was not to give any credit until I searched through English-papers papers more trustworthy...
So it might seem right that Susan is gone to get some rest...
Had she won she might have had to get some rest anyhow...

I did watch a couple of videos with Piers just now talking about Susan's exhaustion and admittance to a clinic. He said he and Simon are concerned about her. He talked with Susan for 30 minutes yesterday and asked her what she would like to do.

Of course, she still wants to be a recording artist. Piers feels this dream will come true for her still. The bad press was just getting to her too much.

I'm praying Susan will recover and then at her leisure be able to record and perform. I guess 2nd place worked out for Susan as she can take her time doing what she wants.
